Saints at Packers: Preview, prediction, odds and pick
By Brad Weiss
In Week 7, the New Orleans Saints will travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Here is our preview, prediction, odds and pick.
The Green Bay Packers lost not only their quarterback in Week 6 but their star quarterback, as Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone. The break means the Pro Bowler will miss the rest of the season, and the team will have to roll with Brett Hundley under center. Hundley has been with the organization for a couple of seasons, so he should be pretty comfortable with the offense on Sunday.
New Orleans has finished 7-9 the last three seasons, but they look a heck of a lot better this season. The team lost Brandin Cooks to a trade this offseason, but quarterback Drew Brees has not skipped a beat. In fact, he did not throw an interception through the first five weeks of the season, and though he turned it over last weekend, his Saints still rolled to their third straight victory.
Playing at Lambeau Field is never easy, but the Packers might not have enough firepower to beat the Saints in this one. Rodgers is not only a starting quarterback, but arguably the best player in all of football, and is literally irreplaceable. Green Bay will have to force it down the Saints throat on defense, so expect a big dose of Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery in their game plan for Sunday.
Odds
Line: New Orleans Saints (-6.0)
Over/Under: 47.5
The Packers are home dogs in this one, and that is only because they lost their star quarterback last week in Minnesota. The over/under is set at 47.5, and that is likely due to the fact that the offenses will definitely outplay the defenses in this one. This line and over/under has changed a bit over the past week or so, so head on over to Sportsbook Review for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction
The loss of Rodgers will prove too big for the Packers, especially in their first full game without him. We really do not know what to expect from Brett Hundley, but we certainly know what to expect from Drew Brees. Expect him to exploit this Packers secondary, as the Saints coast on the road to keep their win streak intact.
Final Score: Saints 30 Packers 20
