The NFL season is already entering Week 7 and there have been plenty of big surprises throughout. Here is a look at our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.

As we come upon Week 7 of the 2017 NFL season, there are still teams who have not won a single game. Both of those teams were expected to struggle, and because of that, they will be picking at the top of the first round. Other teams who were expected to be great have fallen on hard times, as we can see by teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.

The 2018 NFL draft class is expected to be loaded with quarterbacks, but there is also a ton of talent when it comes to the offensive line. Saquon Barkley may be the best running back prospect we have seen in the last ten years, and the list of first-round edge rushers is endless. With that being said, let’s take a look at our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.

Saquon Barkley

Running Back, Penn State

The Cleveland Browns lost again on Sunday, this time to the quarterback they passed over in the 2017 NFL Draft. Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson continued his monster season against the Browns, who were going with Kevin Hogan at the quarterback position. Hogan replaced the ineffective DeShone Kizer at QB for the Browns and did not fare much better than Kizer against the Houston defense.

Kizer was the Browns second-round pick in 2017, and all signs point to the team sticking with him in his development. Cleveland will likely have the first overall pick against in 2018, but we believe they will pass on the bevy of quarterback prospects in this draft. Instead, they will select arguably the best running back prospect we have seen in the last decade in Saquon Barkley of Penn State.

Barkley has been tremendous for the Nittany Lions this season and currently has the team ranked No. 2 in the country. For the Browns, he would give them their best running back since Jim Brown, which I know is a pretty bold statement. He can make plays on the ground, through the air, and in the return game, making him the most versatile offensive player in this entire draft class.
