Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury is the biggest heavyweight bout of 2018. Here’s what you need to know if you want to see the fight live.

Knockout artist and undefeated WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) defends his title against undefeated lineal champion Tyson Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) on Saturday, Dec. 1 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Showtime pay-per-view provides the fight coverage of this incredibly intriguing matchup.

Wilder has knocked out every opponent he has fought. His right hand might be the most destructive in all of boxing since Mike Tyson entered the sport in 1985. Fury’s no slouch either. Like Wilder, Fury has never tasted defeat. He beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to become the undisputed heavyweight champion, but he lost the titles as he descended into a deep depression compounded by alcohol and drug abuse.

It’s been a long road for Fury, but he has worked himself into fighting shape and he’s contending for a world title once more. He’s a slick boxer who aims to confuse Wilder in the ring.

Showtime pay-per-view is the exclusive provider of the fight for American audiences. To order the fight, you can go through your cable or dish service provider. Showtime also gives you the option of purchasing the bout through their streaming app. You do not need a Showtime subscription to buy the fight through their app. The cost of the contest is $74.99.
