Myles Garrett made a great play by chasing down the speedy Mecole Hardman.

Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns need to be immaculate against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, and they’ve struggled with that task early by giving up some big plays. Garrett proved that he came to play, however, as he made one of the most improbable plays you’ll ever see to prevent Kansas City from breaking off a long touchdown.

While Mecole Hardman was one second from turning a Mahomes pass into a big gain, Garrett showed off just how unique an athletic specimen he is and how he can impact the game, by chasing down the speedy Hardman and making the tackle all the way down the field.

Myles Garrett needs to be sensational to give the Browns a win

Garrett, who was named an All-Pro after keying a major turnaround on the defensive side of the ball in Cleveland, will have to take on Eric Fisher and a Kansas City offensive line that is not at full strength after losing Mike Remmers before the game. While getting to Mahomes is quite a tough task, Garrett will be in the backfield frequently if he is allowed to match up one-on-one with some of Kansas City’s backup linemen.

Garrett might not be able to pull out a victory by himself, but he will always be worth the price of admission due to his athletic ability, and there are few defensive ends in the league that can claim to have that amount of star power.

Garrett has a tough task ahead of him but if he can run stride for stride with one of the fastest players in the league, he might have one of two game-changing plays up his sleeve.
