Russell Westbrook’s wife calls out Skip Bayless for blocking her

Russell Westbrook’s down season has received plenty of media attention for the wrong reasons. His wife Nina has had enough of Skip Bayless.

Bayless — perhaps the most well-known of all the talking heads in sports media — has made a career off targeting some of the biggest names in all of sports. While Russell Westbrook’s teammate LeBron James can tell him a thing or two about that, as Bayless made LeBron his audible punching bag for nearly a decade if not more, Skip has turned his attention to Westbrook as of late.

Brodie’s honesty about his Lakers’ experience has caught some by surprise. After a tough loss to the Clippers, Westbrook got into a back-and-forth with a reporter over his supposed expectations when joining a team like L.A.

Bayless took matters a step further than the previous reporter in question, who kept matters professional.

Bayless laid out his longtime feud with Westbrook, and his wife Nina did not take kindly to that. Whether she was able to reach Bayless in person remains to be seen, but Nina Westbrook took to Instagram to air her grievances, including revealing that Bayless had blocked her on social media.

Nina just wanted an opportunity to defend her husband in the midst of what’s been one of the worst seasons of his professional basketball career. To rob her of that, while continuing to berate Russ on live television, is borderline cowardly.

Bayless often lets his sports feuds get personal. Nothing is limited to on-court ability, as he laid out above as to his disdain of Westbrook.

But enough is enough.
