Steve Smith trolls Carolina Panthers, calls them ‘schoolyard kids’
By Bryan Rose
When Steve Smith signed with the Baltimore Ravens this past offseason he circled the Week 4 matchup against his former Carolina Panthers.

In fact, he might have done more than just circling it. He likely took his calendar to Kinko’s, blew up the image and stalked the photograph on an hourly basis. Needless to say, Steve Smith was ready to show the Carolina Panthers what they missed out on after they decided to cut him in effort to ‘get younger’.
The 35-year-old wide receiver did exactly that as he amassed 139-yards and two touchdowns in the Baltimore Ravens 38-10 win.
He also gave a parting shot to his former teammates.
Somebody needs to grab the aloe for that burn.
Of course, Steve Smith running his mouth was to be expected as it has become his favorite thing to do. On the flip side the veteran did backup his talk so he’s essentially free to say whatever he likes. Of course, the shot he took at Cam Newton before the game wasn’t needed though that’s typical Steve Smith who also had some fun at the expense of a referee today.
