The Kansas City Chiefs sport one of the loud stadium experiences in the NFL. However, the loudest documented NFL crowd still resides in Seattle — for now anyways. With the Chiefs set to host the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid thinks that could change.

“I have this feeling that they’re probably going to set a new record,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said per ESPN. “It’s going to be a lot of red, and we look forward to it and bringing the Patriots in here and letting them enjoy that part of it.”

Tom Brady and the Patriots will surely be tickled pink by a boisterous Chiefs crowd that hopes to incite many a false start or a burned timeout.

The Chiefs have won their last two home games on Monday Night Football, thanks to a great crowd. Both wins came against the San Diego Chargers in dramatic fashion, setting the tone for the belief that the team can pull off another upset against the Patriots.

Monday Night Football play-by-play man Mike Tirico concurred with Reid and others. “If you think about it over the years, Arrowhead has stood out as a unique environment and difficult place (for visiting teams) to play. The passion of the fans — so many people wear red to a Chiefs game — to me indicates an intense pride of helping the defense with crowd noise and false starts.”
