The Cincinnati Bengals just can’t stay healthy, especially wide receiver A.J. Green who has been dealing with turf toe for quite some time.

It’s not known if the recurring injury flared up again on Wednesday morning though the Pro Bowl talent went down in pain during practice and had to be carted off the field.
To make the injury even more concerning, Green wasn’t even participating in on-field drills or a scrimmage but appeared to be hurt during stretching/warm ups.
Only exercises the #Bengals were doing before Green got carted off were plyometrics and stretching. May have aggravated it then.

A.J. Green just got carted off practice field while practice is open. He let out an audible sigh as he rode off. Possibly his toe #Bengals

At this point it doesn’t seem as if anybody knows what’s wrong though the fact Green could be heard unleashing a sign in frustration seems to indicate he knows what the problem could be, or at least is tired of being hurt.
A.J. Green was previously limited during Cincinnati Bengals practice last week though did end up playing in their Week 5 contest against the New England Patriots. That may have proven to be a poor decision given the blowout and Green’s problematic foot.
Green has played in three games for the Cincinnati Bengals this season and performed well when on the field. Hopefully the injury, despite being carted off, isn’t major and the Pro Bowl talent will be back on the field soon. His status for Week 6 is obviously unknown at this point.
