Preakness: Marlins Man crashes podium (Video)

The famous Marlins Man crashed the podium for the Preakness Stakes trophy presentation,

American Pharoah continued its dominant run towards a Triple Crown. After winning the Kentucky Derby earlier this month, American Pharoah won the Preakness Stakes in sloppy conditions by a rather convincing margin.

They celebrated on the podium in the rain with a replica trophy since the real one was under protective glass. Thewinning jockey was also handed a Longines watch which he held up with the box open despite the rain.

This is all par for the course at horse racing victory celebrations, minus the rain. But do you notice someone who doesn’t seem to fit in the background? It is the famous “Marlins Man” who was on the podium behind the winners to celebrate.

Which of course begs the question… how the heck did he get there? Is he friends with American Pharoah’s owners? Did he just walk up?

We need to get to the bottom of this.

He also had incredible seats for the race, watching from the infield and being near by after American Pharoah won the race.
