Looking at the action and a live tracker for the full match results from WWE Extreme Rules 2016
WWE Extreme Rules 2016 is already upon us just three weeks since the last pay-per-view. Even with the short turnaround, though, it seems as if a ton has happened, storylines have further progressed, and that the company is gearing up for a huge summer on the horizon. That of course will all start on Sunday, May 22 from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ for WWE Extreme Rules.
The main event of WWE Extreme Rules will be a continuation of the feud between Roman Reigns and AJ Styles over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, the stakes will be raised and things could get even crazier now that the Extreme Rules stipulation is a part of their feud. You also have to wonder how The Usos and The Club—two teams who will face off in a Tornado Tag Match earlier in the night—will factor in to Reigns-Styles with that stipulation.
Also keeping fans on the edge of their seats leading up to Sunday night at the pay-per-view is the Submission Match for the Women’s Championship between Charlotte and Natalya. The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line in a Fatal 4-Way between the champ, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn in what promises to be a fantastic match.
In addition to all of this, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho will also be squaring off in an Asylum Match (a cage match with weapons). Kalisto, The New Day, Rusev, and The Vaudevillains will also be in action on Sunday night.
