If you already happen to be a fan of the Nike Air Max, you’re gonna love what’s coming down the pike in the form of these new Air Max 1 Pinnacle colorways.
While a running shoe would hardly be my first choice to ever wear casually, what we have here might just do the trick.
As is the case most of the time, the black leather and off-white versions are clear no-brainers, and the other two options are outstanding executions.
We’ll start out with those.
Ocean Fog/Thunder Blue
These might have too much of a Tar Heels feel for some, but it’s a splendid mix of blue that manages to keep a clean, premium feel despite the array of shades. My only change would be to go with light blue laces that marry with the light blue leather that the eyelets lay on.
Otherwise, shockingly enough, I have no complaints.
Iced Jade/Cargo Khaki
If you were to describe these to me without having an image handy, I would probably make a “who farted” face. Because even with the photo, I’m still not sure how to properly describe these or do them justice other than to say holy crap, this works.
If you’re not going to play it safe with the black leather or off-white, this would be the way to go. It’s a tremendous look and the perfect stray from the norm.
Speaking of the black leather…
Damn. Like any other shoe on the planet, you simply cannot go wrong with black leather and an off-white sole.
Screw running, screw marathons, and screw wind sprints. You can wear these anywhere.
The off-white leather with the off-white sole is basically a shoe that’s all but begging to be worn to your storied white party this summer. As I said earlier, this one and the black version are true no-brainers.
Titolo has these releasing internationally on February 1. As for the states, there’s no official release date set in stone just yet but it’s expected to be early February as well.
We’ll update the post once official release info is announced by Nike.
