Air Jordan 11 “UNC” Low Releases This Week And Will Probably Sell Out In 11 Seconds

The Air Jordan 11 Low “UNC” aka “Carolina Blue” aka “Columbia” is set to release this week for the first time in 16 years.

When combining any Air Jordan with Carolina Blue like Nike has done with the Air Jordan 11 Low, it’s a foregone conclusion that the shoe will be a wild success and likely sell out within three or four minutes of its official release.

It’s too brilliant of a recipe and just too easy of a sell for Nike not to repeat this approach once a month.

For example, did you try to snatch up the Jordan XXXI “UNC” Low?

How about the Air Max Uptempo ’97 University Blue?

Because both of those are long gone.

Fortunately enough, Nike is gleefully providing yet another opportunity for you to score some Jordans that ooze with nostalgia this coming Saturday at 10 am EST.

But since this iteration involves the devastating combination of the Jordan 11 and Carolina Blue — Varsity Blue, UNC blue, whatever you wanna call it — you better set your phone or laptop clock to analog so you can actually see those final seconds tick down and then hit refresh at 9:59:59 am.

Given that the weather has seemingly agreed to finally stop sucking, forget the reselling aspect for a moment and consider these for yourself. It’s the perfect spring/summer sneaker purchase.

Personally, I could not care less about the MJ-UNC connection, but these are just clean, clean, clean.

Unlike the aforementioned Jordan XXXI UNC Lows and the Air Max Uptempo ’97s, these have just enough blue without screaming out that unfortunate fanboy vibe of “HEY EVERYONE, UNC RULES!!”

For the price tag of $175 are they really worth it?

Ever since the Royal OG High went for $110 it’s been especially hard to justify the price for any of Nike’s releases over the past couple weeks.

The Air Jordan XI “University Blue” Low releases this Saturday at 10 am EST on Nike SNKRS.

Speaking of Carolina, feel free to use this as your pump-up GIF as you prepare for the release on Saturday morning.

Wooooooo!
