March Madness 2023 bracket predictions: Repicking the Final Four, National Champion with Sweet 16 set
March Madness Bracket Predictions – Final Four
3 Kansas State vs. 1 Alabama
This should be a fun game as neither team has been on this stage in a long time (or ever, in Alabama’s case) and the nerves could be tense early. Kansas State struggled a bit with Kentucky’s length in the Round of 32 and Alabama has plenty of it to slow down the Wildcats. The Crimson Tide move on here.
Pick: Alabama
2 UCLA vs. 1 Houston
This game is where the absence of star guard Jaylen Clark will really hurt UCLA. With a healthy Clark there was every chance the Bruins could pull the upset here and send Houston out. There simply isn’t enough scoring here to outgun the Cougars, who will have the hometown crowd at their backs in this game.
Pick: Houston
March Madness Bracket Predictions – National Championship
1 Alabama vs. 1 Houston
If we end up with this matchup in the championship game we’ll be in for a treat as these two teams played a classic earlier in the season. Alabama rallied from a 15-point second-half deficit to shock the Cougars in Houston in that game, a fact that Kelvin Sampson won’t let his team forget in the leadup to this one. Playing in front of the hometown crowd will be a massive lift for Houston, which outlasts Alabama to win their first national championship.
Pick: Houston
East Region Sweet 16 and Elite Eight | South Region Sweet 16 and Elite Eight | West Region Sweet 16 and Elite Eight | Midwest Region Sweet 16 and Elite Eight
