Katherine Webb is dominating Twitter when it comes to the National Championship game, and that says a lot about both the quality of the game and the quality of Webb. But while Brent Musburger publicly got all hot and bothered for Webb, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett thought he was being private when he tried to woo her.

Dockett accidentally publicly tweeted Webb his phone number, asking her if she wanted to go to Wing Stop, only the tweet wasn’t private — it was very much public.

He deleted the tweet, but not before it was retweeted first.

Dockett later tweeted that his tweet to Webb was supposed to be a direct message.

Brent Musburger quipped when he was hitting on Webb from he booth, that quarterbacks get all the women. Dockett clearly took offense and tried to show that defensive guys get their fair share of the ladies — even if they’re already taken.

By the way, turns out the phone number is for a youth cheerleading leading coach in Maryland, a coach who has a very full voicemail box thanks to the Cardinals defensive end. Kudos to Dockett for trying though, at least he closer in age to Webb than Brent Musburger is.
