The Carolina Panthers are trying to win the NFC South since the 2008 season where they finished the year 12-4 but lost in the divisional round.

This years team could go a lot further than that with quarterback Cam Newton in town. This team has played great football this year despite some hiccups here and there. Their defense happens to be one of the best in the league and their offense isn’t that terrible either.

Newton has always been a promising player who is slowly proving that he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the league. I’m not a Carolina Panthers fan, but I’ve always been a fan of Cam Newton. That and this team has former Chicago Bears’ Greg Olsen and D.J. Moore.

They’re in a tough Week 17 battle with the Atlanta Falcons right now and need to pick up this victory if they want to walk into the playoffs as a division champion. Newton has 135 passing yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He’s also 30 yards away from reaching 100 yards on the ground.

Cam was able to find tight end Greg Olsen with a seven yard touchdown pass to take the lead against the Falcons. Greg has four receptions for 29 yards on top of that huge touchdown reception.
