Aside from the major players, Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders believes mentions Celtics’ power forward Brandon Bass, Minnesota Timberwolves’ point guard J.J. Barea, New Orleans’ Pelicans’ guard Eric Gordon and New York Knicks’ swingman Iman Shumpert as players who could be traded.

"Some names to keep an eye on are Rajon Rondo, Thaddeus Young, Roy Hibbert, Brandon Bass, J.J. Barea, Eric Gordon and Iman Shumpert. All of these guys have been mentioned in trade rumors and could be moved before February’s trade deadline……I included Hibbert, Bass, Barea, Gordon and Shumpert because their names keep coming up in trade scenarios. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. It seems like those players have been shopped and they could be on the move."

Shumpert put up 6.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 37.8% from the field, 33.3% from beyond the arc and 74.6% from the free throw line last season. Bass put up 11.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.9 blocks per game while shooting 48.6% from the floor, 33.3% from three and 85.8% from the charity stripe. Barea went for 8.4 points, 3.8 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game while shooting 38.7% from the field, 34.7% from beyond the arc and 79.0% from the free throw line. Gordon averaged 15.4 points, 3.3 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 43.6% from the floor, 39.1% from three and 78.5% from the charity stripe.
