This summer during NBA Free Agency, LeBron James left the Miami Heat to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team he started his NBA career with and his hometown. It was a feel good story that was the talk of the summer, earning James praise and companies rolling out new commercials.

For instance, Beats By Dre rolled out a new ad about James return to Cleveland, featuring shots of him at his old high school in the Cleveland area.

That commercial led ESPN reporter Britt McHenry, who covered Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant during his high school days in Maryland to tweet about the commercial and what a Durant version would be lime.

Durant had an interesting response to it, one that will start a lot of rumors.

The Durant returning to the Washington area, his home town, has been a storyline already ahead of his own free agency like James. His comments would seem to indicate that he is considering, or even planning on, making the return home.

Of course he could be saying just wait on it because he has his own Beats By Dre commercial, but that isn’t as fun to think about.
