John Wall gave Joe Harris a not-so-warm welcome to the NBA starting lineup on Friday night and it was filthy.

The Cleveland Cavaliers recently inserted Joe Harris into the starting lineup, and on Friday night against the Wizards, he ended up with the unenviable task of guarding John Wall.

Yeah, needless to say, things did not end well for the young Harris.

Wall had the ball with under a minute to go in the first quarter and he found himself matched up with the rookie out of Virginia. This was absolutely the worst possible scenario for Harris, who got a heavy dose of what John Wall is all about.

Watch in the video below as John Wall drops a little shake and bake, and then proceeds to nail the long two right in the face of Harris, after he was done making him look exactly like what he is–a rookie.

Welcome to the NBA, Joe Harris.

When you really start to think about it, this probably won’t be the last time that Wall will get the best of Harris.

Harris will eventually garner himself enough defensive skills to take on someone like John Wall, but that won’t be tonight.
