Fan Breaks A.J. Pierzynski Signing In HoneyBaked Ham

One fan broke the news of A.J. Pierzynski signing with the Atlanta Braves after his father spoke to Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez at a HoneyBaked Ham.
HoneyBaked Ham is a great place to go to pick up a meal for the holidays. It also, apparently, is a great place to go to find out important MLB news.

One fan broke the news of A.J. Pierzynski signing with the Atlanta Braves after his father took a trip to a HoneyBaked Ham and spoke to Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez.
After the news of Pierzynski’s signing became public and the fan’s scoop was proven to be true, reporters gave the fan his due credit.

What a remarkable and funny story. But it’s not just the fan that deserves praise. Credit to Gonzalez for being cool enough to give breaking news to a guy he met at a HoneyBaked Ham.
