A duck flew into Wrigley Field on Tuesday night so Cardinals players decided that they wanted to make him feel welcome

Throughout the course of an entire baseball season, we really do see some strange occurrences. Now, as with anything else, some always tend to stick out in your mind more than others. What happened on Tuesday night when the St. Louis Cardinals were taking on the Chicago Cubs will really be one that sticks out for the remainder of the year.
At one point in the contest between the two rivals on Tuesday night, a nice little duck made its way into Wrigley Field. You know, just a duck wanting to take in a baseball game like the rest of the folks in attendance.
Alright, all joking aside, it’s pretty odd to see a duck roaming the baseball field, but it didn’t seem all that odd to the Cardinals players in the dugout. That’s because instead of just staring in amazement, they decided that they’d offer up some food as if they were standing on the edge of a nice lake rather than inside a baseball stadium.
That is just awesome.

So, apparently ducks are more than welcome inside the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. Well, just so long as the Cardinals are in town.
