UPDATE: And it is a done deal. Redick has been shipped to the Bucks. The Atlanta Hawks pulled out of the trade talks for star forward Josh Smith, per Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

In exchange for Redick, the Bucks send Doron Lamb, Tobias Harris and Beno Udrih to Orlando. The Bucks also get Gustavo Ayon and Ishmael Smith from Orlando as part of the deal.

There was growing speculation that shooting guard J.J. Redick could stay with the Orlando Magic after numerous teams, including the San Antonio Spurs, pulled out of the hunt for the former Duke Blue Devils star. However, with the trade deadline passing within the next 15 minutes, the Magic are reportedly working on a three-team deal that includes the Milwaukee Bucks and an unnamed team.

The player at the center of the three-team trade is Redick.

Milwaukee was expected to make a play for Redick if they lost Monte Ellis in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks for star forward Josh Smith. Does the Bucks involvement in trade talks with the Magic mean Milwaukee is increasingly confident that they will land Smith?
