Report: Joe Flacco to Sign New Contract on Monday

Multiple reports have surfaced that the Baltimore Ravens and Joe Flacco will finalize a six-year, $120.6 million contract on Monday with Flacco signing his new deal around 2:00 p.m. ET with a press conference set shortly after.
The deal will be finalized before tomorrow afternoon’s franchise tag deadline, so the team will have a couple of hours to make a final decision on whether or not to use the tag.

Flacco earned the new deal with his impressive play down the stretch that ultimately led to the Ravens winning Super Bowl XLVII. It’s safe to say Flacco made the right move by passing up on the Ravens substantially smaller contract offer last offseason. For Flacco, he couldn’t have elevated his level of play at a better time.
