Baltimore Ravens, Chris Canty Agree to Deal

Former New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Chris Canty has finally decided on his next home. The veteran defensive lineman has signed with the Baltimore Ravens. The news was broken by none other than Canty himself.

The former fourth-round draft pick joined the league in 2005 as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. He was also part of the Giants Super Bowl XLVI winning team.

Canty is a perfect fit for the Ravens as a versatile defensive lineman. He will give the team the interior pass rush that they have lacked. After losing Paul Kruger and Dannell Ellerbe early in the free agency process, it is a solid and necessary move for the team as they add bodies to fill out the depth chart.
