Free agents are flying off the shelf and offensive skill players are proving to be the hottest commodity on the market. But one team not shopping around is the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, who thanks to being in a salary cap pinch, have tried to limit their signings to those of the in-house variety. Some reports have linked the Ravens to free agent wide receiver Danny Amendola however, and CBS Sports insider Jason La Canfora is saying that’s just not the case.

It does make sense that people would be trying to link the Ravens to Amendola seeing as Baltimore lost Anquan Boldin in a trade to the 49ers but the Ravens aren’t looking around for offensive talent, at least not in the direction of Amendola.

Amendola has been linked to both the Patriots and Eagles though, and so far only the Eagles have backed off from those rumors. The Patriots and Wes Welker are reportedly nowhere near each other in terms of a contract which means Amendola may wind up with New England if the two sides can’t learn to get along.

But as far as rumors surrounding Amendola in Baltimore, the fact of the matter remains the Ravens have next to no money to splurge on free agents this year and Amendola is likely going to wind up elsewhere.
