Miami Heat star Chris Bosh has been stepping up in a big way in the absence of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, and he went out to celebrate his wife’s birthday Wednesday night it what sounds like an epic party. While Bosh has been riding the recent highs, he received some sobering and unfortunate news when he returned to his Miami home.

Bosh’s home was burglarized while he was out celebrating his wife’s birthday, according to NBCMiami.com. Approximately $340,000 in goods were stolen from the home.

From the report:

"The home of Miami Heat player Chris Bosh was robbed and $340,000 worth of watches, rings and purses were taken, Miami Beach Police said Thursday….But on Wednesday night, Bosh was out celebrating his 29th birthday at Briza on the Bay on Bayshore Drive in Miami with a Moroccan themed party, which included belly dancers and fire breathers. And a camel named Henri greeted guests."

First of all, the party had to be awesome. Belly dancers, fire breathers and a camel named Henry? Sign me up for the next one.

As for the burglary, it is very unfortunate and you never like to see anyone fall victim to an incident like this. Hopefully authorities can find whoever is responsible and bring them to justice. Ideally, the authorities would be able to return Bosh’s stolen goods, but you would have to believe those were flipped for cash as soon as possible. But there is always hope.
