The Baltimore Ravens had an opportunity to select Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o to finish off the first-round of the 2013 NFL Draft, but they chose to find Ed Reed’s replacement rather than Ray Lewis.

With the final pick in the first-round, the Ravens picked Florida safety Matt Elam. Elam is a hard-hitting safety that will keep the Ravens physical mindset going. He has some great instincts that can allow him to develop in to a star safety.

With the first-round now coming to a close, players like Geno Smith, Manti Te’o, Eddie Lacy and Jonathan Cyprien remain on the board.
