On a Saturday filled with plenty of hoops from the college and NBA ranks, there were some big games for fantasy basketball owners including some usual names on our top performers list like LeBron and Paul George and some surprises including the top name on our list making his first appearance in our Top Performers.  Here are the players who stepped up Saturday and had big stat lines for their fantasy owners:

Terrence Jones-Houston Rockets

Jones had a career-high 36 points against the Bucks last night in the Rockets ten-point win.  Jones hit 14-20 shots from the field including one three-pointer to go with his 11 rebounds, two blocks, an assist, and a steal. Jones is actually still available in some leagues and is enjoying a great breakout season for Houston.

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans

Davis had a big double-double with 17 rebounds to go with his 31 points which he got on an efficient 17 shots from the field.  He added a block and an assists in his 42 minutes in the Pelicans loss to Golden State.

Paul George-Indiana Pacers

George matched Jones with 36 points for the high scorer of the night.  George got a large portion of his points on five three-pointers he made and also added six rebounds, three steals, and a pair of assists.  George is well on his way to joining the elite category with LeBron and Durant.

Joakim Noah-Chicago Bulls

The Bulls trounced the Sixers behind a big night from Noah.  Even though he only took 14 shots from the field he finished with 21 points to go with his 16 boards and four blocks. He added three assists and a pair of steals as he was at his best as he contributed across the board.

LeBron James- Miami Heat

James and the heat needed overtime to beat the Bobcats, but LeBron made sure they didn’t lose.  He finished with 34 points on 13-25 shooting while adding eight rebounds, six assists, and a steal.

LaMarcus Aldridge-Portland Trail Blazers

Aldridge was over 25 points for the third straight game and put up his fourth double-double in a row last night.  He finished with 30 points and 12 rebounds while aslo adding three steals, a block, and a pair of assists.  He’s been dominant this month averaging 26.0 points, 1.5 blocks, and 12.8 rebounds for January.

John Wall-Washington Wizards

Wall continued his recent run of success even though the Wiz lost at home to the Pistons.  He finished with 34 points and six assists while hitting both three-pointers he attempted and adding four boards and an assist.

Lance Stephenson-Indiana Pacers

Stephenson followed up a huge night in New York with another solid outing against the Clippers.  He finished with 22 points on 8-17 shooting and also contributed across the board in other categories.  Stephenson finished with 12 rebounds, seven assists, and a steal.

D.J. Augustin-Chicago Bulls

Our sleeper stat line from yesterday comes from Augustin who has been playing well as of late with three straight solid lines in the box score.  Last night, he came off the bench with 19 points and eight assists in 28 minutes while adding three steals and four rebounds.  He has averaged 16.2 points, 7.6 assists, and 1.4 steals over his last five games making him a good pickup if you need point guard help.  Augustin is currently owned in less than a quarter of ESPN leagues, and he should be near the top of your list of pickups for next week.
