One of the hottest surprise acts of the year in music was Seattle rapper Macklemore, who burst into the mainstream after years of trying to make it big. His rise to fame, fortune and popularity mirrors that of his favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks, who just took home their first Super Bowl win in franchise history.

Macklemore has made his love of the Seahawks no secret during their run to the Super Bowl and he took to Twitter to celebrate the big win for his favorite team.

Macklemore wasn’t the only Seahawks celebrity fan to have celebrated the win on Sunday night. Actor Joel McHale also took to Twitter to boast about his team winning the Super Bowl but saying it over and over and over again until it finally sunk in.

The Seahawks may have had only a few celebrity followers this season, but their huge win in Super Bowl XLVIII will no doubt bring more famous attention to the team in 2014.
