The Oakland Raiders have a ton of cap space, roughly $64.9 million available under the salary cap. Despite all that cap space they look content to let running back Darren McFadden walk in free agency.

From the San Francisco Chronicle:

"Former starters Darren McFadden and receiver Jacoby Ford will hit the free-agent market. The Raiders like McFadden, but the running back’s history of injuries makes an aggressive bargaining approach unwise."

There are plenty of free agent running backs available, like Houston Texans running back Ben Tate or Denver Broncos’ Knowshon Moreno amongst others. With all that cap space the Raiders might be able to outbid anyone for their top targets.
