After spending some time away from football to get his life back together, it appears that former NFL linebacker Rolando McClain is going to come out of retirement to continue his NFL career.

According to Ravens beat writer Matt Zenitz, McClain is telling folks that he’s going to return to the NFL and attempt a comeback.

McClain had a very public downfall in the NFL last year, as his career with the Raiders detonated in spectacularly awful fashion and he didn’t last long enough with the Baltimore Ravens to even play a game with them.

He seems to have gotten his head straight and looks ready to continue his career. HIs retirement last year seemed more like McClain hitting the pause button n everything as getting himself better off the field was a priority.

Now that this seems to have happened, McClain will try to see if anyone wants to give him a third chance and it’s likely that the former Alabama product gets that this offseason.
