The New York Giants flirted with the idea of singing Rashad Jennings earlier in the day, as word surfaced that they had an offer out to the running back ahead of free agency. That offer wasn’t met but the Oakland Raiders it seems, as Jennings is on his way tot he Giants as New York’s newest running back.

The Giants locked up Peyton Hillis earlier in the day as well, meaning they will likely be heading into 2014 with an entirely new setup than they did 2013. Jennings came into his own this past season and helped lead to the demise of Darren McFadden.
Oakland actually re-signed McFadden before free agency started, and that signaled the end of Jennings with the team. But the Raiders loss seems to be the Giants gain, as the running back comes to town with a fresh new contract.
