NFL Free Agency: Giants and Jon Beason have agreed to a new deal

The New York Giants and linebacker Jon Beason have agreed to a new deal. Beason was traded to the Giants from the Carolina Panthers after losing his spot on the team.
I'm told that NYG & Jon Beason are "close" to agreement but nothing final yet. It's a battle -- Beason has options -- but NYG are favorites.
