The Baltimore Ravens have decided to bring back wide receiver and return man Jacoby Jones, but that hasn’t deterred them from their pursuit of Patriots free agent Julian Edelman. According to Jason La Canfora, the Ravens are still interested in signing Edelman and their decision to bring back Jones hasn’t thrown them off Edelman’s trail.

The smart move would be to grab as many weapons as they can for Joe Flacco, but within reason. The best thing the Ravens can hope to do, aside from signing Edelman at the right price, is to drive up the price on Edelman for the Patriots.

Earlier in the week it was made known that the expectation in New England is that offers will be brought back to the Patriots to see if they’ll match. It’s unclear if Edelman will actually do that, but the Ravens aren’t scared to pursue him.
