There are a lot of things the Baltimore Ravens can do with the remaining cap space they have, and one option may be to reunite offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak with his old tight end from Houston. Owen Daniels was cut loose by the Texans this free agency and that has some wondering if he could be a cheap fit for the Ravens.

While Jamison Hensley from ESPN.com notes that adding Daniels makes sense for Kubiak, it may not make sense on the books.

Per ESPN.com:

"I would prefer if the Ravens signed a free safety or offensive lineman more than a tight end. It’s definitely a position of need. Dennis Pitta is the only tight end with any experience. The Ravens just have bigger priorities in free agency."

Daniels could be a decent option if he came cheap, as loading up on receiving target for Joe Flacco should never be considered a bad thing. But if he take up a lot of the Ravens remaining cap space, they’re better off filling other needs and looking elsewhere.
