The Washington Redskins have signed former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson. There is one problem that is emerging, Jackson has worn the number 10 his whole career and on the Redskins team it is already in use, star quarterback Robert Griffin III wears the number. Jackson said that Griffin and him have discussed the number but they haven’t decided what to do with it or who will keep it.

“I definitely am familiar on the No. 10 [worn by] Robert Griffin,” Jackson said on a conference call with reporters, via Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Washington.  “We’ve talked about it a little bit.  But that isn’t a decision that’s been made yet so far.”

They don’t appear to be in a rush to make a decision, so Redskins fans might have to wait a while to get their hands on a Jackson jersey.

“Maybe by the time the season starts we’ll know,” Jackson said.  “Maybe RGIII will wear No. 3  and I’ll try to get in [No.] 10.  We’ll see how it goes, though. You never know.”
