The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers are meeting in the Eastern Conference Finals just like we thought they would and we now get to see if the Pacers wishing for the Heat was a wise move or not. On paper it seems like a really bad idea as the Heat are 9-1 in the postseason while the Pacers are struggling to stay relevant in a postseason that has seen them nearly get eliminated twice.

Indiana has home court advantage, but it hardly helped them against the Atlanta Hawks and they were more dominant on the road against the Wizards then they were at home, which begs the question of how useful home court will be. That being said, Miami’s only postseason loss has come on the road which means Indiana’s best chance at winning this series may come from stifling the Heat in Indianapolis.
