Yasiel Puig found something fun to do with his down time in Cincinnati. He headed over to the Cincinnati Zoo for some up-close-and-personal time with a snake. By the look on Puig’s face, he wasn’t entirely thrilled about having the reptile draped around his neck.

Then again, nobody told him to put it there, did they? I’m guessing the snake didn’t just crawl out of its cage and wrap itself around Puig’s neck.

Bill Plaschke: “Clearly, Yasiel Puig has no more respect for the animal kingdom than he does the game of baseball. Look out Yasiel Puig. One of these days the baseball gods and mother nature are going to team up and give you the karmic ass-whipping you so richly deserve.”

Hopefully when Puig got tired of wearing the snake he didn’t flip it. Bat flips are epic, snake flips are not. Snake flips are the sort of thing that get you in all sorts of hot water with PETA. It’s bad enough having the Fun Police after you, it’s something else when it’s PETA.

The Fun Police will scold you, but PETA will flat out try to ruin your life. That is truly a terrible organization filled with awful human beings.
