The Minnesota Timberwolves are close to trading Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers but they’re making out like bandits on the return for him. Not only are they getting Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett but they’re looking at making Thaddeus Young from the Philadelphia 76ers part of their haul as well.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Originally it looked like Bennett was going to be traded for Young but the Wolves apparently like his upside following an offseason of improving himself as a player and he’s not longer worthy of a trade. Instead, it will be roster players the Wolves currently have that get moved and some of them may be notable to fans.

According to Jon Krawczynski from the AP, one player that could get moved in the Kevin Love trade is guard Alexey Shved, who may be on his way to the 76ers to help obtain Thaddeus Young from Philly.

Its a trade that could actually help make Shved into a star as he’ll have ample playing time in Philly and be on a roster that is begging for someone to breakout. He’s not the smartest of players though, but he has upside and if he can’t flourish in Minnesota then perhaps a lower stage in Philly will help him launch his NBA career.
