Guard Eric Bledsoe and big man Greg Monroe still haven’t signed contracts with a team. Both are in similar situations with different reasons because of restricted free agency.

Bledsoe and the Phoenix Suns haven’t been able to find a middle ground between Bledsoe’s desire for a max contract and the Suns four-year, $48 million offer. Suns owner Robert Sarver is talking openly in the media, Bledsoe’s camp is mainly quiet outside of an occasional leak and fans anger is getting pointed in the former Kentucky product’s direction.

All the good the Suns worked for last year with Bledsoe as a key cog could be coming crashing down.

On the other hand, Greg Monroe seems to be planning an escape route from Detroit, not because of money, but desire. In Monroe’s four years with the Pistons the highest winning percentage they have reached was .379.

Despite a new regime in place with Stan Van Gundy taking over Monroe wants to see proof the organization is heading in the right direction before he decides to make a long-term committment.
