Kenny Hill wants his own nickname known
Kenny Hill was the sole controller of the spotlight last week when his Texas A&M Aggies took on Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecocks. Stepping into the shoes once occupied by Johnny Manziel, Kevin Sumlin’s latest project, Kenny Hill rose to the occasion like stars do. Now fans are clamoring to nickname the highlight reel quarterback.

So what’s the caveat? Kenn Hill wants you to know he already has his own nickname.
As many around the country have started calling the A&M signal caller “Kenny Football,” Hill wants it known he’s not just the next Johnny Manziel.
Kenny Hill wants to be known as Kenny Trill.
Forget the definition of Trill, Hill is using the nickname in the context of rap culture created by Texas rapper Bun B, who calls himself Bun B Trill OG.
Hill has made sure to stay out of trouble a bit better than Johnny as well. Regarding pictures, Hill said he was told by Sumlin to stay away from cameras. The quarterback said, “Johnny got in so much trouble over pictures.”
While I am not one to subscribe to the idea of tying myself to something so few people understand, give credit to Kenny Hill on stepping out from the Johnny Manziel shadow. Having to play quarterback at the same school the polarizing quarterback just left, the comparisons were sure to follow.
After throwing for 511 yards and 3 touchdowns against another SEC defense, and one that was actually alive and breathing on the field (despite the statistical output suggesting otherwise), let Kenny Hill be called whatever he wants.
The Aggies are back in action Saturday against Lamar at 7:30 pm EST on the SEC network.
