The Miami Dolphins are 1-2 after losing two straight following their electric come-from-behind victory over the New England Patriots in Week 1 of the NFL season.

Now the Dolphins have traveled to London in order to take on the Oakland Raiders, but instead of discussing Sunday’s must win game, much of the attention has been on the fact that head coach Joe Philbin would not endorse Ryan Tannehill 100 percent as the starter this week following back to back poor performances.

Ultimately, this led to a rift and distraction in the locker room as players were unsure who their starting quarterback would be on Sunday. Philbin later apologized for not appropriately handling the subject, and today it was made evident during the team’s practice that Tannehill would be the starter this Sunday.

Although there is a suggestion that Tannehill and Philbin are at odds with one another, Ryan assured the media this afternoon that all is well between the two men.

“We’ve talked. We’re on the same page. Just getting ready for the game,” Tannehill told the Palm Beach Post.

Tannehill and Philbin may be on the same page, but what they both need to worry about is a win over the Oakland Raiders Sunday. The Dolphins can ill afford to go into their Week 5 bye 1-3, as that will more than likely kill their chances to make it to the postseason.

Considering the Dolphins postseason drought is at five years and counting, if the team does not make it to the promise land this season, both Tannehill and Philbin could be looking for a job elsewhere.
