Stevan Ridley leaves Shane Vereen hanging (Video)

New England Patriots’ running back Shane Vereen just wanted to show his boy Stevan Ridley some love…just your standard high five as part of a substitution.
Ridley completely left him hanging.
You know, considering the career that Ridley has had to this point, he should not take any form of congratulations for granted. He might want to soak up each and every high five, fist pump, and butt slap that he can.

As for Vereen, the poor guy just experienced what so many of us have gone through over the years. The difference, of course, is that you aren’t on national television when your buddy leaves you hanging at your pick-up volleyball game. Nobody knows the difference but you if your bro doesn’t see your high-five request after he crushes it with a funny joke.
At least you hope nobody knows the difference. To try and pretend that’s not what happened, you might itch your arm, fix your hair, or act like you just realized something. In Vereen’s case, he just clapped his hands, either to fire himself up or out of frustration for the missed high five.
