Raise your hand if you thought one of the
best teams was going to trade one of their best playmakers midway through the season.
The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks shocked just about everyone late Friday afternoon when news broke that Harvin was headed to the Jets.
Colin Cowherd didn’t seem too shocked but provided some insight with this tweet from Friday:
Don't over think Percy Harvin to Jets. He's really fast. They need a playmaker. Seattle used three pix to get him. Only got one here.

Harvin only caught 22 passes for 133 yards in five games for the Seahawks this season. He moves from one of the best teams to arguably the worst team in football.
The announcement shocked several players around the league including Pat McAfee, Julius Thomas, and former teammate, Marshawn Lynch:
I for one, am pretty excited that Percy Harvin did not get traded into the AFC South.. Dude's a nightmare

What Percy Harvin to the Jets. That came out of nowhere!
— Julius Thomas (@Julius_Thomas) October 17, 2014
Damn they got my nigga....
— Marshawn Lynch (@MoneyLynch) October 17, 2014
The Seahawks acquired Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings in 2013 for three picks. Seattle will only receive ONE pick in return.
What’s the deal with Percy Harvin staying on a team? Seems like he will fight right in with the New York Jets and head coach (for now) Rex Ryan.
