Look out below. Another day, another victim for

Los Angeles Clippers

‘ resident slam machine DeAndre Jordan. In Monday’s contest against the visiting

Utah Jazz

, he reminded all once again why it’s simply a bad idea to be anywhere near the goal when Jordan is on the court. Even if he’s out by the three point line, assume it’s because the airplane is preparing for takeoff.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert learned the hard way. The Clippers have been lovingly referred to as Lob City and for a very good reason. Whether it’s all-star forward Blake Griffin serving up the business to an unknowing defender of Jordan doing what Jordan does, they are simply a warehouse of highlight after highlight. Especially with point guard Chris Paul orchestrating the show.

As Paul penetrates and the defense closes in on him, he lobs the ball to find Jordan skying for the alley opp over Gobert. Rudy goes to the court like a rag doll only for Jordan to stand over him and peer deeply into his soul. How’s that for insult to injury? Gobert being obviously embarrassed, gathered up enough guff to finally crawl back to his feet and head back downcourt.

I mean sheesh, DeAndre. There are women and children watching.

(The Clippers would go on to defeat the Jazz 107-101.)
