11-year old Aito Iguchi is tearing up the internet with his amazing hockey skills.  The young player from Japan is clearly the best player on the ice and way more ahead of the curve than his peers.  He seemingly picks apart opposing defenses single handedly, and seems to do it with ease.

Here are some highlights of the young man:

The kid has better hands than probably most players twice his age.

That was just dirty.  The goalie had no chance.  It’s not even fair.

This is the play that impressed me the most out of all them.  Usually when a young player like this is so far more advanced than the other kids he plays with, they tend to be very selfish players and try to do it all himself.  Instead, Aiko has the hockey IQ to set up his teammate with a beautiful spin-0-rama pass for an easy back door tap in.

It will be interesting to see how this young man develops as he gets older and the competition around him gets more advanced.  He’s clearly way ahead of the curve right now, but his competition will catch up to him.  However, he clearly has the skill, smarts, and the work ethic to possibly be very good player in the future.
