Long-time NBA referee Joey Crawford did a little dance before making a routine call as he is wont to do.

No one loves Joey Crawford as much as Joey Crawford. At least, that seems to be the deal with a guy who always insists on making himself the show during an NBA game. The notoriously trigger-happy referee whose feud with Tim Duncan seems older than time by now was once again on display, turning simple calls into tap dancing routines, as seen below.

A simple blow of the whistle and an arm wave should be good enough, but not when you’re Joey Crawford and you literally have nothing to look forward to but that moment when people have no choice but to look at you and see what is you’re jumping around about now.

And speaking of jumping, how many hops does the old man take there? That’s about three leaping steps more than is ever needed to make a simple blocking call. The sad part is that this is nothing new. The Broadway reject just can’t help himself as if he’s just caught up in the spirit of dance any time he sees some illegal contact at play.
