Get game previews and predictions for each of the NFL‘s week 14 match ups with the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL.

Welcome to the week 14 edition of the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL. Each week you can check in to get game by game previews and predictions for each of that week’s match ups. For each game I look at how the teams match up. Does one team’s strength line up with the other team’s biggest weakness? I’ll also check and see if there have been recent past match ups that might shed some light on how the game might play out. Finally, I mix in a little of my own gut instinct.

Last week I broke even at 8-8. That brings my season record to 122-69-1. I’m going to have to up my game heading down the home stretch if I want to get over the two to one ratio of correct games picked. It’s been a tricky year to pick games because of all the parity. There are 13 teams (almost half the league) that are in the 5-7 to 7-5 range. If you’ve been picking games every week and you have an incredibly high percentage correct you should get yourself to Vegas because you’re either onto something or are riding a serious lucky streak.

This week’s games have several interesting match ups. The Baltimore vs Miami game looks on paper like a pretty even contest between two AFC playoff contenders. In the NFC the matchup between the Seahawks and Eagles looks like it may be one of the best of the week. So let’s go ahead and jump into the games, starting with the Thursday night game.
