Literally so upset right now.

On the upside, I’m one of the apparent minority who strongly prefers the San Jose Sharks black alternate jersey design, so the fact that these aren’t just solid teal causes me to give the Bay Area a bit of a pass.

This jersey concept, leaked just hours after the Los Angeles Kings had their Stadium Series jerseys leaked via Rink Manor, combines the team’s classic teal jerseys (which, like I said, I can’t stand) with the more modern black designs. I’m still fuming that the league has apparently ignored my brilliant suggestion of a California Golden Seals throwback tribute, but it could be way worse, I suppose.

Beyond the fact that it doesn’t pay tribute to anything pre-1990’s (which the team was formed in 1991, but there was a team there before that! Where’s our Bay Area loyalty, I ask you?), there’s nothing to really hate about this jersey concept — other than, of course, the fact that it’s pretty much identical to the concept for the L.A. design. They match, and I don’t approve.

Also, this:

I’m just saying.
