Golden State Warriors coach Alvin Gentry repaid the favor his forward paid him

You should never really fall asleep around friends or colleagues when they’re still awake. Golden State Warriors assistant head coach Alvin Gentry found out the hard way when Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green found him sleeping on the way to Oklahoma City for Friday night’s game against the Thunder.

It appears the assistant coach wasn’t safe in his sleep from his picture being spread on social media. Iguodala, who took the picture of Gentry sleeping, sent it to his teammate Green, and naturally the photo was all over social media in an instant.

Gentry, in the picture, was sleeping so hard his mouth was open and was “catching flies,” as the coach would say.

Gentry, however, would have his revenge. After Green fell asleep, Gentry would return the favor by snapping a picture in return of the Warriors forward and sharing it on Twitter.

It appears that Gentry has one last score to settle with Iguodala, the original picture-taker, being his final target. If there is one thing to learn from the Warriors’ plane ride, what goes around comes around and Green found out the coach wasn’t afraid to get one back on him.

The plane ride after tonight’s game in Oklahoma City should be interesting, to say the least.
