Vancouver Canucks fan utterly fails with Wayne Gretzky jersey (Photo)

Wayne Gretzky the most well known Canadian hockey player ever, but that doesn’t mean all Canucks know how to spell his name.

Hockey fans are some of the most loyal fans out there, but not all them have elevators that go all the way to the top. They know the sport better than anyone, but it appears that not all of them can pass a standard player name spelling test.

This was seen thanks to one Vancouver Canucks fan who embodied all that is wrong with hockey fans and those who have no idea what they’re talking about. Being a vintage fan and living in the history of hockey is a great thing, but if you’re a poser, you should make sure you don’t expose yourself so easily.

Just check out this jersey, which is a classic example of one of those ‘circle the things wrong with this picture’.

There’s so much wrong with this photo, let’s break it down.

First, let’s get the obvious out of the way — what in the hell is that creepily well made puppet in the background? It’s way too well made to be ignored and it’s staring directly in to the camera. Weird.

Secondly, that’s just the worst way for a fan to spell Wayne Gretzky’s name and if this is truly a Canadian fan then they should be ashamed. If you’re born in Canada, there are three things you learn to do in your first year of life — breathe, walk and learn everything about Wayne Gretzky, up to and including how to spell his name.

Lastly, it’s worth pointing out that there is nothing ironic about wearing a Wayne Gretzky Canucks jersey. He didn’t play for the Canucks, he never was going to play for the Canucks and never had a rivalry with the Canucks. So not only are you wearing a Wayne Gretzky jersey that is misspelled, but you’re wearing it on a Canucks jersey that just makes this just the worst situation it could possibly be.
